Frank J. Gaffney Jr., CCP’s Unrestricted Warfare Approach, New Paradigms w/Sargis Sangari EP #172

On Monday, 6 NOV 23, on the 172nd EPISODE of New Paradigms with Sargis Sangari, Frank J. Gaffney Jr., Vice Chair of the Committee on the Present Danger: #China, author of the book The Indictment, and the Founder and Executive Vice Chair of The Center for Security Policy, joins me to discuss the comprehensive approach of CCP’s Unrestricted Warfare.

U.S. support for the war in #Ukraine and now the war in #Gaza has sapped some operational capabilities, according to DOD accounts. U.S. troops are deployed to #EURCOM and #CENTCOM during recruiting and readiness level shortfalls. On the other hand, #CCP, #Russia, #Iran, and other nations have over decades of a security-defense-intelligence sharing framework in the Shanghai Cooperative Organization (#SCO), whose charter explicitly cites the U.S. as the main adversarial focus on the alliance.

The main question that Mr. Gaffney addresses is if the U.S. has been stretched too thin to deal with the only existential threat in over 150 years of American history, China, and whether or not the U.S. involvement in #Israel, #Syria, and Ukraine are potentially bogging the U.S. down and preventing our response to the real danger which is the CCP invasion and occupation of #Taiwan and control of the sea lanes in that region.

In regards to the U.S. Southern Border crisis, Michael Yon, Dr. Lawrence Selin, and others have obtained first-hand observations concerning thousands of military-aged Chinese and other anti-U.S. nation males illegally entering the United States via routes through the #Panamanian #DarienGap, Belize air routes, and sea routes off Miami. These migrant waves from China come amidst a travel restrictive period on overseas travel. Chinese cannot leave CCP-occupied #Asia without CCP approval. Many of these Chinese have later been spotted or broadcast in the U.S. with The People’s Liberation Army (#PLA) flags, linking up with CCP-aligned cells and purchasing and taking weapons training.

China is supporting thousands, if not tens of thousands, of military-aged males, some identified as PLA soldiers, illegally entering the U.S.

Frank discusses the objective of this CCP campaign and why the U.S. government has downplayed, at best, and whitewashed, at worst, the current threat and past historical atrocities by China.

China has also been maneuvering in on the #PanamaCanal for many years. Recent unrest in Panama and first-hand reports of the Chinese Embassy offering millions to private landowners to build an airport north of the Canal have raised fears of the CCP gaining in Panama. Mr. Gaffney discusses the CCP strategy in that country and whether there are other Central and South American inroads that you know of where the CCP needs to be countered.

Finally, America needs help countering CCP #intellectualtheft, #espionage, and influence operations (#IO) in our nation. We discuss what Mr. Gaffney would do if he had all the power in D.C. to salvage this problem.

As the #MiddleEastern crisis threatens to pull #Turkey, Iran, and many other nations into the conflict, we discuss China’s diplomatic angle in increasing its influence in the Middle East and #NorthAfrica.

The Committee on the Present Danger: China defends America through public education and advocacy against the full array of conventional and non-conventional dangers posed by the People’s Republic of China. As with the Soviet Union in the past, Communist China represents an existential and ideological threat to the United States and the idea of freedom—one that requires a new American consensus regarding the policies and priorities needed to defeat this threat. For this purpose, it is necessary to bring to bear the collective skills, expertise, and energies of a diverse group of experts on China, national security practitioners, human rights and religious freedom activists, and others who have joined forces under the umbrella of the Committee on Present Danger: China.
