Maura Moynihan: “Fire Under The Snow” CCP Occupied Tibet, New Paradigms w/Sargis Sangari EP #157

On Monday, 10 JUL 23, following the 88th birthday of the #DalaiLama on 6 JUL 23, #MauraMoynihan, Executive Producer of “Fire Under the Snow,” http://fireunderthesnowmovie.com Author, Journalist, & Researcher, and former #RadioFreeAsia Bureau Chief in #Kathmandu, #Nepal, joins me on New Paradigms with Sargis Sangari, Episode #157, to discuss the Global Threat of #CCP Occupied #Tibet and Tibet’s nine rivers #Aisa’s Water Tower at risk.

Ms. Moynihan explained why the Chinese Communist invasion and occupation of Tibet is a seismic event in world history and the strategic and resource advantage the CCP gained by Tibet’s capture. Ms. Moynihan also discussed how the CCP’s massive #hydrodams built on Tibet’s transnational rivers pose significant dangers to South and #SoutheastAsia nations.

The Plateau of Tibet has been described as a vast storehouse of water for at least ten rivers like the #Yangtze, #Yellow, #Mekong, #Indus, #SyrDarya, #Salween, #Brahmaputra, #AmuDarya, #Ganges, and #Irrawaddy, spanning countries like #India, #Burma, #Thailand, #Cambodia, #Laos, and many others.

Almost half of the various world’s population lives in the watersheds, whose source those begin originate in the heartland of Tibet. And given all this and the reality that this lifeline is increasingly under threat by the CCP, we discussed whether or not we will be able to counter # Beijing’s evil dictates.

Join us for this critical discussion.
