Unfortunately, the U.S. placed itself in this position where its deterrence of China has failed. At this point, unless the POTUS airdrops the whole 82 Airborne Divison on Taiwan and leads it with F-22s and F-35s with actual transports escorted by a carrier’s airwing to counter the CCP from practicing a blockade and invasion of a Sovereign Democracy then its more likely that an attack is imminent rather than a possibility.

Not sure if the Biden administration advisers who agreed with the Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi’s speech at the Brookings Institute in which he presented China’s vision of the future in an address titled “A New Power Relationship.” in September 2012 will do anything to counter their decade long plans to actualize the CCP proposal.
