Vince Romano: GOP Nominee, IL House of REP District # 16, New Paradigms w/Sargis Sangari EP #122

On Monday, 31 OCT 22, on the 122nd EPISODE, of New Paradigms with Sargis Sangari, Vince Romano, the #Republican Nominee for the #Illinois House of Representatives, District # 16, Chicago Tribune endorsed candidate, joined me to discuss his endorsement and the upcoming 8 NOV 22 Mid-Term general elections.

During our discussions, Vince laid out how the #voters in the IL House District #16 will finally have a chance to vote for an opposition party nominee for the first time in a decade.

We discussed the national issues of #fentanyl deaths affecting #skokie Illinois on this #Holloween weekend and covered the #crime in the state of #Illinois even before the #SAFE-T act is implemented on 1 JAN 23.

Vince spoke about the issues and topics related to the #sanctuary state and city status in #Chicago and #cookcounty that has exasperated the fentanyl issue given dealers and crime networks do not fear #prosecution or #detention from Immigration and Naturalization Service (#INS).

Vince also spoke about how #safety is the number one topic to include parental rights for parents.

We spoke about the Illinois #pention system and the economic effects on families, including small #businesses who have been negatively affected by #inflation, real estate taxes, and tax in general.

Vince Romano discussed how taxes and crime are the primary reason why businesses have left the state, including #Caterpillar Inc., #Citadel, #TysonFoods, #Boeing,

Vince and I also discussed the technical process of how the SAFE-T Act was pushed through the Illinois #legislature. Even though the law is #unconstitutional, with 100 out of 102 counties #StatesAttorneys suing to stop its implementation, it’s most likely that the Illinois Attorney General, #KwameRaoul, will not sue Illinois Governor J. B. #Pritzker because the governor is one of the significant campaign contributors to his Attorney General.

Vince also spoke about the proposed # amendment to the Illinois constitution, named the “workers’ right amendment,” which will negatively affect the taxes in the state. The amendment is being advertised as supporting private unions, but if it was written to do so, the bill would be #unconstitutional as advertised. The amendment can affect the state unions only.

Vince also recommended that Skokie residents VOTE NO on the Skokie ballot to the proposed referendums, which would completely change the Skokie government. From his perspective, the referendums would make tracking the special interest money more difficult. At the same time, whatever political group takes over Skokie in the future will not allow any new voices in politics at the local levels.

Join us for this critical discussion a week before the general elections.
