Richard Goldberg: Diminishing Effects of US Foreign Policy, New Paradigms w/Sargis Sangari EP #70

On Monday, 25 OCT 21, on the 70th EPISODE, of New Paradigms with Sargis Sangari, I welcomed back, #RichardGoldberg, senior advisor at Foundation for Defense of Democracies (#FDD), and the Director for Countering Iranian Weapons of Mass Destruction (#WMD) for the White House National Security Council (#NSC) from 2019-2020 for a discussion on the diminishing effects of the U.S. #foreignpolicy, and the #NearEast future over the next decade. Richard sees the current US Foreign Policy as both a “serious misstep” as well as a road to a “new 9/11” because of the cascading effects from the #Afghanistan withdrawal as well as the lack of focus on both allies, non-allied, and adversarial nations in the #Middle East, #Asia, and #NorthAfrica.

“Confidence in the United States is at an all-time low” among our #allies, according to Goldman. This lack of confidence abroad and lack of focus at home could lead to potential damage both to our allies, and in the mainstream USA.

Richard Goldberg is also the co-host of the PODCAST #JewishInsider (JI) which covers U.S. politics, #philanthropy, and #business news with a Jewish angle. #nationalsecurity #middleeast  #arrow3 #IRGC #IranWars #Sudan#MuslimBrotherhood #southsudan
