The unsettling truth is that U.S. foreign policy has been reduced to keeping our friends throughout the globe through Foreign Military Sales and or contributions of financial aid.  This is one of the reasons why they will take our aid, possibly our equipment, and money but their hearths will belong to others.

On 19 FEB 16 Russia Insider posted: Jakarta announced that Indonesia intends to buy 10 Su-35 Flanker-E super-maneuverable multirole fighters, according to Indonesia’s Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu. Indonesia is getting ready to buy the Su-35 with armament and avionics systems and chose the aircraft over the F-16V and the Eurofighter.
