Obama’s Recognition of Yazidi Genocide Used To Bail Out KRG From Financial Woes

On 6 FEB 16 CBN News posted the article: “It’s Genocide,” Europe Says of Christian Slaughter by ISIS.

In the article they quoted Nina Shea, previously with Freedom House, who said: “There’s a reluctance on the part of the administration to call it genocide against Christians. They have told us privately that they will call it genocide against Yazidis but not Christians.”

On 5 FEB 16 NEC-SE CEO was interviewed by Breitbart News about Syrian peace talks and partitioning, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) land desires, and the future of Assyrians (the root of Christianity) in Iraq and Syria.

NEC-SE was asked to comment on one of Mr. Brett McGurks statements.

As reported by Breitbart News, Mr. Brett McGurk, Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL, was quoted by Rudaw News as saying that he is including Christians in the talks to grant more local autonomy to the Kurds in Iraq.

“When America and its Western allies, all part of the Christian world, say we’re going to take this land and give it to Kurdish Muslims who don’t practice the Christian Assyrian culture, they are doing nothing more than killing Christianity in the Middle East with their own hands and they don’t even know it. They’re killing it,” declared the retired U.S. Army veteran, head of the Near East Center for Strategic Engagement.

Sangari went on to say that it appears the U.S.-led coalition’s war in Syria is ultimately about ensuring Kurdish autonomy, not defeating the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL).

For the longest time the NEC-SE has looked at the open source link analysis to see why the Obama Administration was more interested in recognizing the Yazidi-and not the Assyrian-genocide. It now seems clear — They are doing so in order to keep the KRG from failing financially, more than doing so for the need to save the Yazidis and Assyrians who have been destroyed by ISIS.

KRG has had financial issues, which finally exploded into protests across multiple provinces and cities of the KRG starting last week. The riots were part of the larger issues afflicting the KRG — corruption, financial inability to pay the civil servants, and President Masoud Barzani’s reluctance to step down although his term has already expired.

Given that the Kurds’ claim the Yazidis to be Kurdish, rather than recognizing them as a distinct ethnicity, which is religiously and culturally different than Kurds, the genocide recognition will now allow the KRG lobby group and the current administration to say that there was genocide against the Kurds. This in turn will open up global financial coffers which will allow KRG to quell its internal uprisings, it will also allow them to crush their opposition by buying their loyalties, and will allow the KRG to take over the lands of the Yazidis and Assyrians in order to establish a larger Kurdistan. Currently Assyrian and Yazidi militias that are forced to work under the ranks of the KRG will be used to defuse global powers protests over the KRG actions.  It should be noted that Yazidis do not claim to be Kurdish but the Kurds claim them to be kurds.

It is apparent that the current administration is desperate to ensure that they do not fail in another foreign policy decision, which had them blindly supporting the current KRG leaders at the detriment of the Yazidis, Assyrians, and the Kurds who are being played by a few power brokers in the land. They are willing to monetize the Yazidi genocide and marginalize the Assyrian genocide on behalf of the KRG lobby, which is very active through financial support in this year’s presidential election in the United States. Unfortunately, for most Americans who are against the eradication of the Yazidi and Assyrians in their historical homelands, the money being used to suppress these ethnicities aspirations in the region is U.S. taxpayer funds which comes back into the hands of the politicians in DC under the cloak of KRG lobbying groups.

Given the financial crisis the KRG is facing NEC-SE would not be surprised if the Yazidi genocide will be pushed through the administration channels to be signed as soon as possible.

  1. What Obama or US is doing, recognizing Yazedis but not Assyrian Genocide, and support Kurdish autonomy is killing not only the Christianity, but killing the first and the biggest civilization in the face of the earth, that Assyria have so much to the Whol world, it’s a big shame to Obama first because they always cried about slavery, then to me, to us, and to the world it’s not slavery, second it will be shame on America to do this wrong decision:) .?!

  2. Who is Obama anyway, last time we have had the same problem with him during he went to Turkey and because of some economic reasons he denial the Armenian & Assyrian genocide. Back to the history, the Ottoman campaign against Christian minorities of the Empire between 1914 and 1923 constituted a genocide against Armenians, Assyrians, and Pontiac and Anatolian Greeks. Likewise, it took us all exactly more than a century to be recognized. But this time not by US government? The only thing the US government have ever done any good for us was at the time of Busch, he came and break all of ppl of Iraq necks, especially by the minority ethnic groups. Yet he taking his brake and relaxing at his ranch and drowning some puddle dogs. This is America, no justice at all. He is the war criminal and do we have to expecting of other side of world by Arabs fundamentalism when they trying to vanishing us? If the world elite leaders are the big criminals and violating the human rights, what’s then the world perspectives for the value of human rights up next coming decades?
