On 9 AUG 15 NEC-SE posted the article:  World Communities Ultimate goal for Saudi Arabia.

In the article we stated either Saudi will split out into three or they will be part of the world community. IT IS THEIR CHOICE!

In todays article on Middle East Eye states:  Sheikh Adel al-Kalbani, a former imam at Mecca’s Grand Mosque, said IS executions of western hostages were ‘not outside Salafist framework’

“We follow the same thought [as IS] but apply it in a refined way,” he said. “They draw their ideas from what is written in our own books, from our own principles.”

The cleric said that “we do not criticise the thought on which it (IS) is based”

Kalbani also spoke about the killing of journalists by IS, including Americans James Foley and Steven Sotloff, which drew global condemnation in September 2014.

He said “their blood was shed according to Salafist fatwas (religious edicts) not outside the Salafist framework.”

Saudi Arabia has regularly been compared with IS, in so much that both appear to stipulate similar punishments for crimes that include apostasy, adultery, and drinking alcohol.

On 28 SEP 15 NEC-SE posted the article:  NEC-SE asks: Who Speaks for Islam? Who Should Speak for Islam?

In the article we stated:  Where is the leader who can, or could, provide a focal point for discussing, addressing, and undertaking to resolve the many problems currently besetting the Muslim world?

Where indeed? Is such a leader even possible, given the nature of Islam? And if the answer to that question is no, does that mean that the aforesaid problems are insoluble?
