Jennifer Zeng is a senior advisory board member, serving as the Director of China’s Governmental and Societal Affairs. Jennifer is a China expert and former researcher at the Development Research Center of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, the highest-level governmental policy research and consultant body.
In the past two-plus decades, Jennifer has worked in the media industry as a journalist, editor, news producer, news director, columnist, and TV show host.

Jennifer was born and grew up in China. She escaped to Australia in 2001 after being arrested four times and tortured in Beijing Female Labor Camp for one year for practicing Falun Gong. Her best-selling memoir “Witnessing History: One Woman’s Fight for Freedom and Falun Gong” was published in English and Chinese.
In 2010, Jennifer’s story was turned into an award-winning documentary, “Free China: The Courage to Believe.” As a result, Jennifer moved to the US in 2011 and obtained an EB-1 visa (Extraordinary Ability Green Card) for her extraordinary abilities and national and international acclaim.
