Michael W. Kichman is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Asymmetric Operations Group (AOG) and part owner of Tripwire International. TripWire is a small for-profit focused on Special Operations, Police Support, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal / Demining. AOG is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization comprised of elite special operations and law enforcement veterans who have retooled their unique and highly-developed skills to address global issues such as poaching, human trafficking, and other critical problems in the global commons.
Michael has extensive hands-on experience in Counter Terrorism, Special Technology Operations, and Special Operations with over 40 years of experience in the field. A retired Army Special Forces Officer and former Vice President at CACI, where he led a Division focused on law enforcement support and United States Coast Guard National Security issues, his understanding of modern asymmetric threats is unparalleled.
Michael is the former Chairman of the National Defense Industrial Association’s (NDIA) and Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (SOLIC) Board, where he worked closely with United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) leadership, and industry to support the Special Operations community. He is a recognized expert in asymmetric and irregular warfare and the integration of law enforcement and defense or special operations into a comprehensive interagency solution.
