NEC-SE was honored to support the Center for Pluralism (CFP) panel discussion; “Do Religious Scriptures bring harmony or evoke conflict?” The panel was convened on 25 JUL 18 at the Longworth House Office Building and moderated by Dr. Mike Ghouse, Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Pluralism. Dr. Ghouse has written thousands of articles on the topic and has appeared in over 300 National TV Shows discussing these issues and topics. The panel also included Rabbi Gerald Serotta, Executive Director of the Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington (IFC), Bishop DR. Paul Murray, an award-winning author and internationally sought-after speaker and minster. Dr. Murray serves as the Vice President of the Global Peace Foundation USA, Imam DR. Ahmed Elzaree, who is a fifteen-year veteran of Griffith panel discussions, and Scholar Dileep Thatte a recipient of the “Vishwa Hindu Ratna” award for his contribution to the education of Hinduism. Dr. Thatte has presented papers at the Parliaments of World Religions in Australia and Utah and is a Senior Executive for major global corporations.
