Devlet Bahceli is not expected to survive the leadership struggle unless the AKP promises more government posts to shore up support. NEC-SE expects RTE to use political leverage to keep him in power because the AKP promised that new constitution would be unveiled in SEP.

Expect Kurdish HDP MPs to be removed from parliament and replaced. If so, empty seats will be filled proportionally by all parties. The AK will probably get 44%, CHP 35%, and MHP 21%. With the added seats AKP and MHP can vote together for a new constitution.
