“Cash is king” is an expression sometimes used in analyzing U.S. businesses or investment portfolios. It refers to the importance of cash flow in the overall fiscal health of a business.

Most people know that Iran received the first delivery of a previously-forbidden advanced missile defense system from Russia this week, in the wake of I-5 plus one approval of the country’s nuclear deal.  What most are not aware of is that Iran paid cash for the missle defense systems.

The deal had been agreed to nine years ago but was on hold given Iran needed to strike the nuclear deal with the global community before it could pay for the missiles.  Iran was given access to nearly 100 Billion in U.S. Dollars and used a large portion of the money to purchse the missle defense systems to ensure its nuclear facilities are protected in case of future attacks.
