In the article we stated:  So again the Turks now have switched to supporting ISIS, (the new Kurds), to dislodge and oppress the Kurdish aspirations of a greater kurdistan in the region and to ensure their caliphate footprint expands in Syria, Iraq, and the Levant.

To the Turks we have to say congratulations for making the first collosal mistake of the 20th century with the Kurds of that time and congratulations for repeating that mistake with ISIS of today. All this to dislodging the Christian Assyrians who had lived in your territories for 400 years without ever turning against your leadership or lifting a figure to kill any of your brethren. This is the reason why Turkey will never be seen as a world leader in the 20th century until it reconciles with the Assyrians who are the key for Turkey to be accepted into the EU and the world community states in the future without having the burden of the mistake made by its ancestors who orchestrated the genocide of 1915 and who are now making the political mistake of supporting ISIS operations in the region.

In the linked Hill article Turkey admits to firing on Kurdish forces in northern Syria over the weekend, a move that could strain the already fraught alliance with the United States in the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

“We struck them twice,” Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu said in an interview on Turkish TV on Monday night, according to The New York Times.

On Monday, the People’s Protection Units (YPG) posted on its official Facebook page that the Turkish military shot at its forces two times on Sunday.
The U.S.-backed Kurds have accused Turkey of striking them before, in July, but Monday night’s admission is the first time Turkey acknowledged targeting the Syrian Kurds.
