On 29 MAR 15 NEC-SE stated: “Furthermore, Turkey now has possibly 60 to 90 days to determine whether closing the border will still allow them the regional influence and control they need over northern Syria and Iraq to be a regional hegemony and thus preventing further Iranian influence and further Kurdish territorial expansion within and along its southern boarders. If closing the borders does not achieve this aim you may be assured that Turkey will be forced to take military action in the KRG footprint and in northern Syria to create a security or buffer zone along key terrain against regional competitors, (Iran), and to ensure that fighting does not spill over into southern turkey.”
“With Iran having indirect and direct control over Kirkuk and its oil fields, the taking of Tikrit will be the first step towards furthering Iranian hegemony goals in the region. Turkey is being pushed closer and closer to having to decide to introduce forces into Iraq and Syria.”
Since 29 MAR 15 NEC-SE has stated during multiple radio and T.V. interviews that this day will come. Today both of our predictions have been validated as true on open source. Unfortunately for the Assyrians who are fighting against ISIS forces in Nineveh Plains the incursion by the Turkish forces may limit or stop U.S./Coalition Forces Airstrikes in the Kurdish region given CF will try to avoid killing any Turkisk forces in their operations against the Kurds.
This action will remove the air cover for the Christian Assyrians and Kurdish forces along the Forward Line of Troops (FLOT) in Nineveh Plains which will possibly embolden ISIS to attack the Kurdish forces who are going to be attack by both Turkey and ISIS. These actions are a direct result of the Kurdish leadership understanding that global economies and powers out weight the corrupt needs of a tribal group which still refuses to understand their place in todays Iraq and Syria and not a “greater Kurdistan”.
On 29 JUL 15 NEC-SE posted the article that looked at the links between ISIS and Turkey.
The article stated: “A US-led raid on the compound housing the Islamic State’s “chief financial officer” produced evidence that Turkish officials directly dealt with ranking ISIS members, Martin Chulov of the Guardian reported recently. The officer killed in the raid, Islamic State official Abu Sayyaf, was responsible for directing the terror army’s oil and gas operations in Syria. The Islamic State (aka ISIS, ISIL, or Daesh) earns up to $10 million a month selling oil on black markets. Documents and flash drives seized during the Sayyaf raid reportedly revealed links “so clear” and “undeniable” between Turkey and ISIS “that they could end up having profound policy implications for the relationship between us and Ankara,” senior Western official familiar with the captured intelligence told the Guardian.”

On 21 APR 15 I participated in a round table interview on Chuck-Morse-Speaks. Mr. Morse other guest was Mr. Matthew VanDyke from Sons of Liberty International. We were asked questions from the Assyrian’s military and protection forces and their future, and KRG influence in the region and on those forces.
In the article we stated: “NEC-SE has done this in the past to include posting articles from a year ago to ensure other stories had been developed. We encourage our readers to listen to the interview and go back and read through the link analysis of the stories we have posted on NEC-SE about the KRG. The readers can then determine if they believe that the KRG has lost political favor with the various nations in the world and within the region, given that they decided to declare independence at all costs especially as the citizens of Mosul, whom they were suppose to defend, were being killed as the Kurds declared their independence in Iraq.”

Todays areticle states: “A roadside bomb killed 12 policemen in eastern Turkey after Turkish jets carried out airstrikes against Kurdish rebels and their camps in northern Iraq, state media reports said Tuesday.
Kurdish rebels were suspected of detonating a bomb in the eastern province of Igdir as a police vehicle escorting a group of customs officials to a border gate was passing by, the Anadolu Agency reported. Several other officers were injured in the attack in the province which borders Armenia, the agency said.”
“The customs officials were going to a border crossing between Turkey and the Azerbaijani enclave of Nakhchivan, following the kidnapping of a group of customs officials by the Kurdish rebels. The officials were released unharmed on Tuesday.”
“The attack on the policemen comes amid a sharp escalation of violence between Turkey’s security forces and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK.”
“Sixteen soldiers were killed in a similar attack by the PKK on Sunday – the deadliest assault on the Turkish security forces since the renewed fighting erupted in July, derailing a peace process with the Kurds.”
