Egypt has historically been rooted in socialist ideology. The reality for the region is that when the U.S. footprint diminishes in the region both politically and economically the next ideology that has had historical roots is the region is socialist ideologies of the East. It’s not to say that this ideology is better than the Western ideologies of capitalism but the reality is that in the absence of one ideology the region will turn to embracing the others or their past ideologies or in todays Middle East the Islamic Radical Ideology which is starting to make the case for the next generation to embrace as they try to brake their historical ties with both ideologies in the region.

During his visit, the president will hold talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to discuss various bilateral issues, a statement released by the Kremlin said Thursday.”
